영화배우 데미무어(Demi Moore) 2009년 트위터로 생명을 구하다!
2009년 4월 3일 데미 무어의 트위터 (@mrskutcher)에 @sandieguy (현재 비활성화)라는 이름의 여성이 자신의 자살 계획을 알렸다. 데미무어는 이를 자신의 팔로워들(followers)에게 리트위트하였다. 데미무어는 2011월 9월 기준으로 390만명 이상의 팔로워를 갖고 있다. 리트윗 내용을 보고 팔로워들이 자살하려고 하던 여성을 새너제이(San Jose) 경찰에 신고하였다. 경찰은 이 여성을 집으로 와서 병원으로 인계하였다. 그리하여 여성의 목숨을 구하게 되었다는 소식이다.
