포터 워거너(Porter Wayne Wagoner) : Green Green Grass of Home(고향의 푸른잔디)
포터 워거너(Porter Wayne Wagoner, 1927 ~ 2007)는 미국의 컨트리 팝 싱어송라이터, 밴드리더, 영화배우이다. 포터 워거너는 1948년 가수로 데뷔하였고 1966년 'Nashville rebel'에서 단역으로 영화배우로 데뷔하였다. 우리나라에 잘 알려진 'Green green grass of home(고향의 푸른 잔디)'라는 노래를 1966년 처음부른 가수이다. 또한 당시 잘 알려지지 않았던 돌리 파튼(Dolly Parton)을 자신의 텔레비전 쇼에 초청하여 소개하였고 돌리 파튼(Dolly Parton)과는 1966대부터 1974년까지 잘 알려진 듀오(duo)로 활동하였다.
1925년 11월 28일 시작되어 현재까지 계속되고 있는 미국 테네시 내슈빌의 라디오 방송국 WSM에서 매주 토요일 밤 진행되는 컨트리 음악 공개 라이브 방송 라디오 프로그램인 그랜드 올 오프리(Grand Ole Opy)의 이름을 따서 미스터 그랜드 올 오프리(Mr. Grand Ole Opry)라고 불리며 1954년부터 1983년까지 81개의 싱글을 차트에 올렸으며 2002년 컨트리뮤직 명에의전당(Country Music Hall of Fame)에 헌액되었다.
