미국 뉴욕(New York, USA)의 루스벨트 섬 또는 루스벨트 아일랜드(Roosevelt Island)는 맨해튼 아일랜드(Manhattan Island)와 롱 아일랜드(Long Island) 사이에 위치해 있으며, 루스벨트섬으로는 트램(Roosevelt Island Tramway), 뉴욕 지하철 기차(New York City Subway), 페리(NYC Ferry) 등으로 연결되며, 섬에서는 버스(Red Bus service)를 이용할 수 있다.
루스벨트 아일랜드는 이전에 블랙웰즈 아일랜드(Blackwell's Island)로 불렸으며, 1921년에서 1973년까지 병원을 위해 웰페어 아일랜드(Welfare Island)로 불리기도 하였으나 1973년 미국의 26대 대통령 프랭클린 루스벨트(Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1858 ~ 1991)를 기리기 위해 루스벨트 아일랜드로 이름을 변경하였다. 롱아일랜드에 있는 사가모어(Sagamore Hill)은 루스벨트 대통령이 1885년부터 1919년 사망할 때까지 거주한 집이다.
