노루궁뎅이 버섯 : 학명 Hericium erinaceus, 영어속명 lion's mane mushroom, monkey head mushroom, bearded tooth mushroom, satyr's beard, bearded hedgehog mushroom, pom pom mushroom, or bearded tooth fungus
노루궁뎅이 버석은 식용으로 버섯 갓의 복슬한 털이 노루의 흰 엉덩이와 같다고 붙여진 이름이다.
영어로는 사지의 갈기와 같은 버섯이라고 이름을 붙였다.
